What We do in Cardiology Unit The Department of Cardiology is housed with state-of-the-art facilities providing a wide range of procedures for the diagnosis and treatment of heart disease including cardiac catheterization amongst other procedures. The department work 24 hours for the emergency cases. We have a well equipped CCU for cardiac and coronary cases under supervision of well trained CCU staff. Services Covered:

Catheterization is a medical procedure used to diagnose and treat some cardiac diseases. 1- Coronary angiography + PCI with drug eluting stents. 2- Peripheral angiography + clot removal and stent deployment. 3- Closure of the septum defect with the devices. 4- Balloon dilatation of the cardiac valves. 5- LA closure devices. 6- Pacemakers, CRT, ICDs 7- Pulmonary angiography to deal with pulmonary embolism cases. 8- Blood dynamic measurement. 9- Endocardial biopsy.

The Post Catheterization Intensive Care Unit
